What a Flower Event!
2008 Hongyue Pack Trial successfully laughed at its new
facility Golden Garden from 17th to 20th April. During
the opening days, more than a thousand visitors came and
enjoyed the great flower showcase, among them are mainly
professional growers, distributors and landscapers
across the country, and local flower lovers. With
2,200m2 greenhouse & approximately 3,000 m2 open field
display, more than 1,000 varieties & colors from Hongyue
’s major suppliers Takii, Bodger, Floranova, Benary and
some unusual varieties from Kieft, Global, Wison and
Thompson & Morgan etc, performed to attract the
visitors. New varieties aren’t the only draw to this
pack trial, for Hongyue also did a tentitive explore
into this industry’s trend towards home-gardening
development. Plants like pot gerbera G-Noble,
calcerlaria Pop-Tang, primula Large-Tyre, trailing
petunia Opera Supreme, cutflower helianthus Sunrich,
Eustoma Arena and various ornamental grasses are all
eye-catchers. Themed Flowers Mirror the Olmypics,
Hongyue has selected a great many heat-tolerant series
for growers this year. There’re also displays of turf,
nursery trees, wild flowers, horticultural supplies, and
several technical presentations were held inviting
specialsts from Takii, Bodger, Floranova, Apex and Lowe,
altogether making a great feast.
Visitors amazed at how professional and wonderful this
pack trial is. Some international friends gave a high
prise for its well-organization, different style of
arrangement, the gracious spacing and enjoyable
environment. This is Hongyue’s 4th Pack Trial since
2004, and this year’s display outperformed all the
previous ones. And thanks to the pack trial, more and
more people are getting educated and entertained and
thus will pay more attention to the flower industry.
