Visit from University of Minnesota

A group of University of Minnesota students led by Professor Mary Meyer, a previous lecturer here at Hongyue, came to visit Hongyue Company. They sought to learn more about the horticulture industry in China. After touring the nurseries and greenhouses, the students were very impressed with how developed and advanced the technology used at Hongyue was comparable to the technology used in the United States. When speaking with the students about their impression of the nurseries and greenhouses, one of the students said, “We never knew China had the technology to produce such quality plants. We are very impressed!” After seeing the facilities, many of the students expressed an interest in returning to China again to learn more about Hongyue and the Chinese horticulture industry. They also have an American blog to describe their experience and the company to other students on http://www.growninchina.blogspot.com
