Zhejiang Hongyue Seed Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Hongyue') was established in 2000, and its headquarter is located in Hangzhou, one of the central area of the Yangtze River Delta economic zone. Hongyue is specialized in breeding and propagation, development and application of ornamental horticultural products with new techniques and new products. The sales of potted flower, bedding flower, and cut flower of Hongyue are leading the Chinese market. The market share of potted flower and bedding flower is 35% of toal market share, and the cut flower is 25%. Meanwhile, Hongyue also runs a wide range of business including grass seeds, flower bulbs,container plant production and related horticultural supplies, garden plants, indoor ornamental plants and so on.

The registered capital is 5.56 million U.S. dollars (37.25 million yuan RMB). And the total assets in 2010 was more than 11.94 million U.S. dollars (80 million yuan RMB) with the distribution network covering 10 provinces. The sales of 2010 exceeded 22.39 million U.S. dollars (150 million yuan RMB). In addition to the business in domestic market, Hongyue has actively operated in international business as well. It has obtained the self-managerial import and export authority, and built up close relationship with around 30 famous horticultural companies from 10 countries, such as United States, United Kingdom, Holland, Japan, Germany, Italy, Denmark and so on. At the same time Hongyue has exported Chinese characteristics products on its own production to Japan, Holland and United Arab Emirates. The value of export reached 597 thousand U.S. dollars (4 million yuan RMB) in 2010.
